Terroir

Divento is born on mountain terraces between 720 and 760 meters above sea level, in a landscape suspended between Monte Baldo and Lake Garda. Here, the vines sink their roots into clay-rich soils laced with limestone rock, caressed by constant winds and shaped by sharp temperature shifts. It is an extreme place, where viticulture becomes heroic and the landscape itself carves the wine’s identity.

Tasting Notes

Divento is an elegant, vertical white wine. On the nose, it releases mineral and saline notes, with hints of mountain herbs, citrus peel, and white flowers. The palate is taut, fresh, and precise, defined by a vibrant acidity and a long, savory finish. A white wine that speaks the language of the mountains — essential, profound, and with excellent aging potential.

Harvest and Winemaking

Harvesting takes place by hand between late September and early October, with rigorous grape selection and very low yields of about 1 kg per vine. The grapes are cooled to 5°C overnight, then gently pressed whole. After a static clarification at low temperature, fermentation occurs at 18°C in large French oak casks. Aging continues in oak for about 10 months on fine lees, with bâtonnage performed twice a week, followed by over a year of bottle refinement.

Food Pairings

Divento pairs beautifully with seafood dishes, raw fish, fresh cheeses, and vegetarian cuisine. Its freshness and minerality make it ideal for modern, creative cooking where lightness and precision lead the way. Excellent as a refined aperitif or alongside gourmet dining.

Awards and Recognitions

At its debut, Divento received 92 points from James Suckling and 93 points from Falstaff, two of the most respected voices in international wine criticism. It was also included among the Top Italian Wines with 5 Grappoli Bibenda and 95 points in L’Espresso’s Top 1000 Wines. Furthermore, it was awarded at the Merano Wine Festival.
